Bon Jovi came to us from Las Vegas where he had been picked up as a stray.  He has been with us awhile because he most are very intimidated by him.  Problem with that is he knows it and will use it to his advantage. Weighing in at a whopping 95 lbs he may look and sound like a bad ass but its more like a whiny teddy bear.

Bonjo as he is often called is crazy about 2 things - his ball and his people. He is protective of both.  When he first meets new people it takes him a minute to figure out whether you are good or bad-lol.  After that you are golden.  He was living with a female dog and 5 cats in his foster home and did great with all.  He loves to wrestle with you and have you throw his ball and try to take it from him - you aren't getting it, trust me. but he wants you to try.  oh and he loves playing in the water hose.  Don't know how he would be in a pool of water though.

Bonjo is crate trained, housebroken, knows basic commands, walks good on leash most of the time, we've not had him around any young young kids, but with his size and energy level I would say he would do better with older kids-he is going to plow right over a little one.

Bonjo is looking for someone who understands the breed, will continue working with him so he can be the best boy ever.  He is a lot of dog and you need to be able to handle him.
