As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we would not exist without the commitment of our volunteers willing to donate their time, skills, and passion to helping boxers in need.
With some recent changes and our continued growth, BLR is looking for volunteers who can jump right in and help build our programs. Both hands-on and virtual volunteer opportunities are available in many different areas of the rescue.
INTAKE
Will locate and gather information about boxers needing help
TRANSPORT
giving boxers a ride either long distance or locally
EVENTS
set up booth at community events that provide information about the boxers, rescue, etc..
FOSTER
Provide temporary care to boxers waiting to find their forever home
SOCIAL MEDIA
manage different platforms of social media, making posts, answering questions, etc..
FUNDRAISING
create and manage different fundraising activities
KENNELS
Help with cleaning kennels, walking dogs, monitor playgroups, etc..
ADMINISTRATIVE
monitor email and phone messages
ADOPTION
match boxers with potential adopters
